Efremidis Gallery freut sich, die Gruppenausstellung SQUISH mit Werken von Carlotta Bailly-Borg, Christiane Blattmann, Lindsay Lawson, Teresa Solar und Jens Kothe zu präsentieren.
‚Squish‘ ist ein aromantischer Schwarm, ein tiefes Bedürfnis nach Freundschaft, geistige und körperliche Nähe ohne Berührung, Verlangen ohne Sex. ‚Squish‘ ist auch ein Geräusch; durch Schlamm laufen, auf eine weiche Oberfläche pressen. Unheimlich aber angenehm, ein leichtes Gefühl von Ekel, von dem man sofort mehr möchte. Die in der Ausstellung SQUISH gezeigten Arbeiten befassen sich mit sinnlichen Variationen von Ambiguität und erforschen inhaltlich oder formal Vorstellungen von Unheimlichkeit.
